Richard Wilson is a soulful jazz, bossanova and blues songwriter and performer, based in Memphis.
He writes smooth melodic songs with a gentle bossanova and jazz feel.
He performs solo (guitar and vocals) every week at various venues in Memphis and performs his own material.
His sound has been influenced by a wide range of music : Basically everything from 60’s bossanova ,Dean Martin,Nina Simone and the blues.
He has worked with Grammy Award Winners Boo Mitchell at Royal Studios - as well as Scott Bomar at Sam Phillips Recording in Memphis.
He is a member of the Recording Academy.
